CAMPUS SAFETY

During school hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM, the SCHOOL CAMPUS IS CLOSED. Therefore the following rules apply:

  • Parents/Non-School staff are not permitted on school yard at recess or lunch unless prior authorization has been given by the administration.  All visitors (parents included) must enter through the main door and sign in at the office between 7:30AM and 4:00PM. DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING BY THE SIDE ENTRANCES.
  • Students should not enter or leave by the front door, even with their parents.  This area is a business office area.
  • Persons entering the kindergarten building should come to the front office and sign in during school hours.
  • Persons entering the Extended Care should make their presence known when signing a child in and out of Extended Care.
  • DURING SCHOOL HOURS, NO PERSON SHOULD MAKE CONTACT WITH A STUDENT ON THE YARD WITHOUT FIRST REGISTERING IN THE OFFICE.
  • No one should drive on the school side of the parking lot before 5PM.
  • There is no supervision on the yard before 7:50AM or after 3:15PM, therefore a child should not be on the yard nor told to wait down the street or around the corner before or after these times.
  • Make sure that all emergency card phone numbers and information are updated and accurate. This applies to Extended Care cards also.
  • Dogs are not allowed on school grounds without permission.
  • Bicycles are not ridden in the schoolyards.

Refusing to follow these rules is putting your child and others in an unsafe situation.

BOOKS/SCHOOL PROPERTY

Books must be properly covered. (Folders or adhesive covers may not be used as covers.) Students will pay replacement costs for any unusual wear, damage or loss of books. Willful damage to school property may result in suspension or expulsion.

LOST AND FOUND

Uniform sweaters and sweatshirts, backpacks, lunchboxes, etc. should be carefully labeled. Lost and found items will be left in the Lost and Found closet. The closet is located near Room 611 and is cleaned out monthly, when all items are removed for donation. Smaller items such as glasses, keys and jewelry are kept in the office.

RESERVING CAMPUS FACILITIES

To reserve a campus area, building or room for a committee meeting or school sponsored event, contact the Parish Office.
