Fifth Grade
WELCOME TO THE 5TH GRADE!
Are you ready for a fun adventure?
Ms. Chavez, Mrs. Barrack, and Mr. Gama
are so excited about the many adventures we have
in 5th grade!
The fifth grade is an exciting year for us. We explore fractions and decimals, practice and learn new writing skills, compare and contrast literature, read different types of genres and discuss the events and actions in a story to helps us better understand what we read. We also have many opportunaties to use and practice proper public speaking techniques, learn more about geography, and the great United States, and so much more! As an added bonus, we also take our adventure out of school and journey away to Science Camp, where we learn more about and get a hands on experience of science and nature! This year will definitely be a fun adventure!
