Mission Statement and Philosophy

St. John Vianney Elementary School strives to develop a community grounded in Gospel values, in which students learn and practice the principles of the Catholic faith; exercise the virtues; assume moral responsibility; and experience the importance of serving others. Our comprehensive academic program seeks to prepare members of society who are integrated individuals, capable of thinking critically and committed to life-long learning. We work in partnership with the parents, supporting their efforts to foster the unique development of each student. By honoring the funds of knowledge that the students bring from their homes, our school embraces the diversity inherent in our community.
